Fifi Benham
With a strong background in community theatre groups and education, Fifi (they/them) brings a wealth of experience across diverse professional settings to their work as an intimacy director. This has included working with the Queer Collective as part of the Arcola’s Creative Disruption festival as well as working in a range of non-traditional performance spaces with Riposte London.
Fifi previously worked as an educator for eight years and they are an experienced safeguarding practitioner (Designated Safeguarding Lead), mental health first aider (MHFA for England) and disabilities coordinator. Through their time working in education they gained a deep understanding of the importance of ensuring a high level of care to create space for growth and exploration.
Fifi also works as a writer and speaker with a strong focus on neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ inclusion from a perspective of lived experience. They are passionate about utilising that lived experience in their intimacy work to promote acceptance and affirmation of identity.
