Francesca Bampton
Born in South Australia, Francesca (she/her) is a certified Intimacy Coordinator and Arts Therapist working between London and Australia. Growing up immersed in the performing arts and dance, she developed a lifelong passion for storytelling through movement and performance. This background continues to inform her work today, bringing awareness and sensitivity to the physical demands of performance.
Francesca has designed and delivered creative mental health programs across London and Melbourne, supporting young people in the Youth Justice system who are experiencing mental health challenges through arts-based approaches.
Her journey into Intimacy Coordination grew naturally from her love of the performing arts and her Arts Therapy practice. She sees this work as an exciting and vital evolution for the screen industry, one that empowers performers while strengthening the integrity of storytelling. Grounded in warmth and professionalism, she facilitates clear communication, consent-based practice, and collaborative on-set protocols that protect actors while supporting directors’ creative vision.
Her credits span international screen projects and upcoming shorts in Melbourne and London, as well as contributing to the development of choreography for a new theatre work staged earlier this year in Bristol. With a commitment to human care and creative efficiency, Francesca collaborates with productions to help achieve authentic, powerful scenes while ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of everyone involved.
