Moeko Reilly

Moeko (she/her) is a multicultural and multilingual filmmaker who is fluent in English, Japanese, Spanish, and Korean. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Applied Linguistics, both from the University of Queensland in Australia.

Her love for storytelling combined with her fascination in how people communicate and connect has made her naturally gravitate towards the creative arts. For over a decade, Moeko worked in various roles within the Brisbane theatre scene. She then lived in southern Spain for three years where she worked as an educator and a writer.

Now she has relocated to Tokyo where she primarily works as an assistant director. Moeko also writes and directs her own projects both in Australia and Japan. She is looking forward to the new challenges and experiences that will come with being an intimacy coordinator.
