Rie Kobayashi

Rie Kobayashi(she/her) comes from the field of clinical psychology to filmmaking. She has a Bachelor of Psychology from The State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Clinical Psychology in Japan. She has been working with children in education for over 10 years. She started to work as a on-set counselor for child and young actors. One of her biggest concerns is that children are exposed to inappropriate sexual content too easily in Japan, and Rie takes an active role to protect children who may be faced with inappropriate sexual content in film narratives. Rie is bilingual in English and Japanese and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
