STEFANIE SYCHOLT

Stefanie (she/her) is based between Munich, Cape Town, and London. She speaks English and German fluently. Stefanie is determined to help create better intimate scenes – from the script to the screen – and to advance the work of the IC wherever she can. Stefanie has over 20 years of experience writing and directing films containing emotional, erotic, intimate scenes, including the Amazon Film UN/DRESSED (2024) and the Netflix hit FALL FOR ME (2025), which was ranked as a number one film in 60 countries and had close to 54 million viewers in the first 6 months on the platform.

Stefanie has a degree in film directing from Munich Film School and a Bachelor of Arts (HONS) from the University of Cape Town. Stefanie is also a certified intimacy coordinator, trained via IPA. In addition to her initial core training as an IC, Stefanie has completed an advanced intimacy coordination choreography workshop with IPA.
